OUR FLAMENCO PROGRAM
We offer a series of Flamenco classes based on our students' skill level to continue to build up their mastery of flamenco performance throughout the year. Students will explore and learn the complex Art of Flamenco through tailored learning experiences that will help them develop their strength, flexibility, speed, and accuracy. In addition, they will also systematically explore the structure of the flamenco dance, the compás or rhythm, the “palmas” or clapping, and the feeling of the feeling of each "palo" or different traditional musical forms of the flamenco.

Adult Classes
Introduction to Flamenco
Mondays 6:00 -7:00 PM
Perfect for complete beginners with no previous dance experience. This class introduces the foundations of flamenco, including basic footwork (zapateado), arm and hand technique (braceo), posture, rhythm (compás), and simple choreography. Students will build confidence while discovering the passion, strength, and artistry of flamenco in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Intermediate II
Intended for dedicated students with several years of flamenco training, this class explores advanced technique, rhythmic complexity, and traditional flamenco styles (palos). Students continue to strengthen their technical abilities while developing artistic maturity, confidence, and performance quality through challenging choreography.
Beginners
Designed for students who have completed an introductory course or have basic flamenco experience. This class continues to develop essential technique, coordination, musicality, and flamenco vocabulary while introducing more challenging footwork, turns, and choreography. Students will strengthen their understanding of compás while developing confidence and performance skills.
Advanced
Our highest-level class is designed for experienced flamenco dancers committed to continuous artistic growth. Students work on demanding choreography, advanced footwork, improvisation, musical interpretation, and stage presence while exploring the emotional depth and authenticity that define flamenco. This class is ideal for dancers preparing for performances and advanced artistic development.
Intermediate I
For dancers with a solid foundation in flamenco, this class focuses on refining technique, improving speed and precision, and expanding each student’s movement vocabulary. Students work on more complex choreography while developing stronger musical interpretation, artistry, expression, and stage presence.
Multilevel Technique
Open to students of all levels, this class is dedicated exclusively to strengthening the technical foundations of flamenco. Through structured exercises, dancers improve footwork (zapateado), arms and hands (braceo), posture, turns, balance, coordination, rhythm (compás), and stamina. Exercises are adapted to each student’s level, making this class the perfect complement to any choreography class and an excellent way to build strong, clean technique.
Castanets
Saturdays 12:30-1:30 PM
Discover the elegance and tradition of dancing with castanets. This specialized class focuses on proper hand technique, coordination, rhythm, musicality, and traditional castanet exercises before applying these skills to flamenco choreography. Students will develop confidence and precision while enhancing their overall performance.
Introduction to Mantón
Designed for students who are new to dancing with the flamenco shawl (mantón), this class teaches the essential techniques needed to handle this beautiful accessory with confidence and grace. Students will learn proper body mechanics, coordination, movement patterns, and choreography while building the strength and control required for mantón work.
Bata de Cola & Mantón
One of the most specialized disciplines in flamenco, this class focuses on the elegant and technically demanding combination of the bata de cola (long-train dress) and the mantón (shawl). Students refine technique, coordination, strength, musicality, and choreography while learning to move both elements with precision and artistry. Previous flamenco experience and mantón technique are required.

Kids Flamenco
Our Kids Flamenco program introduces children to the exciting world of flamenco through fun, engaging, and age-appropriate instruction. Students learn basic footwork, rhythm, coordination, posture, and choreography while discovering Spanish music and culture. Classes help build confidence, discipline, creativity, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts in a positive and encouraging environment.
